New Year ~ New Blog

One of my new year's goals is to blog more often.  And not just about me or my exercising - or should I say lack of exercising - but about the little things going on in our lives that I don't want to forget.

Last week

Had another good week of exercising.  Here it is in reverse order.

Saturday ~ ran the Goodwill 5k - 42:15 - my worst time EVER!!
Thursday & Friday ~ days off
Wednesday ~ worked out with personal trainer
Tuesday ~ did the "homework" board at the gym
Monday - day off

I have definitely got to start back to running more often.  I started the Couch to 5k six months ago and if I had stuck with it I would be running much faster and for longer of periods of time.  With the weather starting to finally warm up, I know I'll be more motivated to get outside and run more often.  Plus doing one 5k a month will also motivate me to improve my times.

Another great week!!!

Sunday - walked 1.5 miles
Monday - worked out at gym (pulled my first muscle)
Tuesday - day off
Wednesday - walked 1.5 miles
Thursday - worked out at gym
Friday - day off

This was another great week for me.  Now I've just got to keep it up.  I've also got to get back into running since I'm running another 5K this Saturday.  YIKES!!!!

I also really need to start posting daily.  Otherwise I forget what I did.  LOL!!!!

4 out of 5!!!

I had another great week of exercising.

Monday ~ walked 1.6 miles
Tuesday ~ day off
Wednesday ~ walked 1.5 miles
Thursday ~ worked out with personal trainer - had legs of jello afterwards!!!
Friday ~ worked out with personal trainer - never knew leg exercises could hurt so much!!!

I also found out today that the gym where I'm working out has a "homework" board.  You can come in any time you want and do these exercises there in the gym on your own.  For free!!!  I hope to incorporate that into my routine at least once a week.  I also got weighed and measured today and my trainer (Gabe) says that I should see some results in a month.  Maybe not with the weight, but definitely with the inches.  As long as I see progress I will keep going.

Right now I'm so sore that it's not even funny.  I couldn't even hold up a magazine to read in the car today while waiting for Amber to get out of school.  And don't even get me started on how bad my legs hurt when I sit down to pee.  TMI - I know!!  Sorry!!!

What a week!!

This week was a personal best for me.  I exercised four days this week!!!

Tuesday ~ walked 1.5 miles
Wednesday ~ Zumba with Vince at TDS
Thursday ~ walked - I didn't map it out but it was at least two miles
Friday ~ 30 minute workout with a personal trainer

I've got to keep this up because the next 5k I want to run in is on March 5th.  That's just three weeks away and I haven't run at all since December.  YIKES!!!!
